Comedy Show 25/10/2025

 Comedy Night at The Rising Sun Hotel – Port Wakefield  Mind Over Masculinity brought laughter to Port Wakefield with a Comedy Night at The Rising Sun Hotel, featuring four incredible comedians - Justin Sorre, Nona Mona, Clay McMath, and Jay Michael.  The night was packed with laughs, connection, and awareness - reminding everyone that mental health conversations don’t always have to be heavy. Sometimes, a good laugh is the best medicine.  A huge thank you to the Rising Sun Hotel and the Lochiel Progress Association for their support in making this event possible.

DDCK 2 Day Event 28/06/2025-29/06/2025

 Mind Over Masculinity along side Olympic Tyres teamed up with the Desert Dirt Kart Club for an action-packed two-day event — filled with fun, adrenaline, and community spirit.  Beyond the racing, the weekend was about raising awareness for men’s mental health, starting conversations, and reminding everyone that support is always close by.
 

Woomera RSL 24/06/2025

Mind Over Masculinity attended the Woomera RSL for Mental Health Month, standing shoulder to shoulder with the community to help break the stigma. The atmosphere was welcoming, the conversations genuine — a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.  Real people. Real talk. Real impact.
 

Dirt Circuit 22/03/2025

 oxby Downs Dirt Circuit Club’s first racing event of 2025 — serving more than just great food.  Between roast rolls, hot chips, and nuggets, our crew sparked genuine conversations about men’s mental health. With engines roaring in the background, the day became a reminder that everyday moments — even grabbing a feed at the track — can open the door to meaningful connection.  

ASIST Workshop 6/2/25-7/2/25

We hosted Richie and Justin from The Next Step Australia, who delivered ASIST (Applied Suicide and Intervention Skills Training) to 17 Locals. A huge thank you to everyone who sat the workshop- your commitment to Suicide Prevention is truly inspiring.


A Special Thank You to Ritchie and Justin who traveled up from Adelaide, your passion and expertise made the experience even more impactful.


We were generously host by Night Cap hotels in Roxby Downs and appreciate the hostpitality.


Suicide Prevention is everyone's responsibility. Let's keep the conversation going and continue to breaking the stigma.

Fundraiser 26/01/25

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and supported our initiative.

Together, we raised an incredible $7,500 through ticket sales! This amazing contribution will go towards getting the resources up in Roxby Downs to help break the stigma around mental health and provide much-needed support to the community.


A massive congratulations to the winner of the trailer, Josh Higginson! 


We also want to give a huge shoutout to Richard and the team at the Roxby Tavern, especially Jade, for all her incredible efforts. Your hard work and support made this event a success – thank you for being such an important part of this journey.  Let’s keep pushing forward, breaking stigmas, and uplifting one another. Together, we’re unstoppable.
